Based on a video, the preparation of the dessert is pretty straightforward: a slice of cheese is placed on a plain doughnut before it’s heated in a microwave. Some caramel sauce is then drizzled over the cheese doughnut.
Many social media users have since expressed their shock over the price tag. Some even pointed out that doughnuts sold at other outlets in malls are much cheaper.
“Please everyone, don’t be an enabler for this RM10 doughnut. It’s just a plain doughnut with a slice of cheese and caramel drizzle, I assume? You can get that at a different franchise for less than RM10.”

“I was speechless when I watched the video. A plain doughnut with a slice of cheese could cost RM10."
The user added, "I understand that everything is pricey these days, but this makes me think twice because if I bought something similar at a café, I could get a drink with it. Do you really think the price is worth it, or is it expensive?”
