TLDR
- BRIX KLIA is a stylish hotel near KLIA and KLIA2, offering spacious and accessible rooms with an industrial-inspired design and bright orange accents.
- The hotel features convenient amenities like a gym, entertainment room, community kitchen, self-service laundromat, and a shuttle service to the airport for RM15 per trip.
- Guests can enjoy a simple continental breakfast with options to order hot dishes, making it a practical choice for travellers and short getaways.
Travelling can be exciting, but the exhaustion that comes with catching flights, dealing with traffic, and planning around airport schedules is something many people know all too well. Sometimes, having a comfortable place to unwind near the airport becomes less of a luxury and more of a necessity.
That is exactly where BRIX KLIA comes in. First opened in 2024, this hotel is located just a few minutes away from KLIA and KLIA2. It offers convenience for guests looking for a cosy stay before a flight, during transit, or simply somewhere to unwind for a short getaway from the city.
We were recently invited for a 2D1N stay to experience everything BRIX KLIA has to offer, from its convenient location to its comfortable and surprisingly cosy rooms. Here’s why we think this hotel truly delivers a “home away from home” experience.
Industrial-inspired interior with a pop of orange

It’s hard to miss this hotel thanks to its bright orange exterior. Step inside, and the aesthetic shifts to an industrial-inspired design, with concrete finishes, metal accents, and warm lighting that create a stylish urban feel. The bold orange exterior is also carried indoors, adding a fun pop of colour throughout the space.

The lobby features several seating areas with plug points, making it ideal for guests who need to get some work done. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow ample natural light to fill the space, giving it a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

For added convenience, the hotel also features a myNEWS convenience store located right next to the lobby.
Spacious rooms with accessibility for everyone

Our +Loft room at BRIX KLIA exceeded expectations. It was surprisingly spacious, featuring one queen bed and one super single bed with a trundle. We also requested a baby cot, and even after it was set up, there was still plenty of room to move around. This is definitely a great option for larger groups.

In addition to the +Loft room, BRIX KLIA offers another option for guests travelling in larger groups or those who simply want more space. The Quad room, the largest at 320 sqft, features a similar bed setup but includes a separate living area and two TVs (one in the living area and another in the bedroom), so no more fighting over what to watch.
The hotel also offers four other room types. The Pod features a super single bed, perfect for solo travellers. The +Pod room includes a super single with a trundle, making it ideal for friends who prefer separate beds.
BRIX KLIA also offers Loft rooms, where guests can choose between one queen bed or two single beds.
What impressed us most about the rooms—aside from the generous space—was the hotel’s commitment to accessibility, with a specially designed room for guests with disabilities.

This room features a wider doorway for wheelchair access, while the bathroom is significantly more spacious, with fixtures installed slightly lower for easier reach.
Another thoughtful feature is the water dispensers located on every floor, making it easy for guests to refill their bottles without constantly purchasing bottled water. The availability of hot water was especially useful for us as we were travelling with a child who needed warm water for milk.
Facilities that maximise convenience and comfort for long-term stays
Designed with both comfort and convenience in mind, BRIX KLIA’s facilities cater well to guests staying for extended periods.

Like many hotels, BRIX KLIA has an on-site gym for guests who wish to maintain their fitness routine. Beyond that, the hotel also features an entertainment room equipped with pool, mahjong, table hockey, and table tennis—perfect for relaxation and socialising. The space also includes board games and books for those seeking a quieter activity.

A standout feature is the community kitchen, where guests can prepare their own meals using facilities such as induction stoves, microwave ovens, and refrigerators.
Another convenient offering is the self-service laundromat. Equipped with both washing and drying machines, guests can do their laundry without leaving the hotel. The service costs RM10 for both washing and drying, and includes free detergent, softener, and sanitiser.

One of the most impressive features is the hotel’s shuttle service, which makes travelling to and from the airport hassle-free. Guests can enjoy direct drop-off to KLIA and KLIA2 for just RM15 per person (one way). Pick-up services are also available, making it especially helpful for those with early flights or tight transit schedules.
Continental breakfast was simple yet filling

Our stay also included complimentary breakfast. The hotel offers a continental buffet spread featuring items such as Chinese fried rice, roti canai, egg sandwiches, pastries, and cereal. While the selection is not as extensive as larger hotel buffets, it was still satisfying.
Guests can also order hot dishes from the kitchen, including Big Breakfast (RM25), Mee Goreng Mamak (RM20), and Malaysian Fried Rice (RM15).
Our verdict
BRIX KLIA offers a comfortable stay with excellent convenience for its guests. It’s a great option whether you’re catching a flight or planning a short getaway from the city.
