A series of raids
This development follows an earlier raid on 10 January, where MACC seized 23 Rolex watches worth approximately RM2 million and jewelry valued at RM225,000 from the residence of the former Army Chief’s second wife in an East Coast state. The items were found in two suitcases during the search, which MACC Senior Director Datuk Zainul Darus later confirmed.
Meanwhile, on 9 January, media reports stated that MACC had seized cash, high-performance sport utility vehicles (SUVs), and gold worth approximately RM6.9 million in connection with the case.
