The late winning goal was scored by N.Thanabalan and you can read an interesting story about him here.
Naturally, local football fans were not only eager to watch the soon-to-be historical match, but they were also very excited to purchase tickets to the final match.
After Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin tweeted out the venue of the match and the details of the tickets sale, fans immediately started camping out in front of the Shah Alam Stadium as early as 11pm on Sunday night in hopes of being among the first to get the tickets.

However, tickets to the final match reportedly sold out in less than two hours! Many fans were left disappointed as their dreams of catching the match live will not be fulfilled.
Lucky fans who managed to get tickets to the show proudly showed them off on social media.

As expected, unauthorised resellers began selling the tickets on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, as well as reselling apps such as Carousell from RM100 and up to RM200.
That’s, like, 10 times the original price! Crazy, right?

Angry fans began voicing out their dissatisfaction with these scalpers on Twitter and even tagged KJ in their tweets.

Well guys, we hope the ministry is working hard to track down these scalpers and null their tickets.
Whatever it is, do not support these scalpers or buy from them no matter how badly you want to watch the match live. You never know if the tickets are bogus or you’re being conned.
You can always watch it at home or go to the mamak. No matter where you're watching the match from, we’re sure everyone will be eagerly rooting for Malaysia just like you.
