In case you’ve been out of the loop, the Education Ministry has finally allowed students who are taking the SPM, STPM, SVM, STAM and any equivalent international exams this year to return to school on 24 June (Wednesday).
A lot of news outlets went to various schools to report on the reopening of the schools, and to also interview students who returned.
But one interview in particular went viral overnight, thanks to the hilarious and unexpected answer from SPM student, Muhammad Fikri Mohd Fauzi, from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seksyen 7, Shah Alam, Selangor.
Instead of saying that he's been studying very hard, he admitted that he had been watching a lot of K-dramas and taking a lot of naps.
When asked if he did any studying at home, he replied yes but it was hard for him to understand anything due to the unstable internet connection.
On top of those golden nuggets, he further nailed the interview by admitting that a week before returning to school, he had to look for his school uniform as he did not know where he had place them after not going to school for so long.
Epic!
You can watch the full interview below:
Netizens were amused with his answers, and some even questioned his logic about having no problems watching K-dramas but when it comes to studying, his internet ‘suddenly’ became unstable.
Some even applauded him for being really honest during the interview.
Well, you’re not alone Fikri, as a lot of Malaysians (including us) have been binge watching K-dramas like there’s no tomorrow since the start of MCO.
Now that you’re back in school, we hope you’ll study well and we wish you all the best for your SPM!
