For one Malaysian man, he allegedly went as far as getting himself arrested by smashing the left rear window of a Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) truck with a hammer.

The incident occurred at about 1 PM last Saturday (March 14) at the car park of the Bau District Police Headquarters in Sarawak. It is understood that the suspect rode a motorcycle to the area before carrying out the act.
According to Bau District Police Chief Mohamad Haide bin A. Rahman, the suspect, a 32-year-old local man, claimed he had become the subject of rumours among villagers. In an attempt to prove that he was neither a police officer nor an undercover informant, he decided to commit the act.
Additionally, the suspect claimed that he had been experiencing hallucinations for years.
He also believed that he was being monitored and investigated by the police.

Based on an official statement, the suspect has no prior criminal record. His urine test also came back negative for illegal substances.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code, which carries a prison sentence of up to five years, a fine, or both, if found guilty.
