Looks like it hasn't been a good week for celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
News broke earlier this week that the 43-year-old's restaurant chain has collapsed into administration.
According to a report in BBC News, 22 out of the 25 restaurants have already been closed, while the remaining three restaurants will continue their operation for a short term.
Oliver's world-famous restaurant, Fifteen Cornwall at Watergate Bay, which operates under a franchise, is reportedly unaffected.
As a result of the closure, about 1,300 staff working at these restaurants have lost their jobs.
“I’m devastated that our much-loved UK restaurants have gone into administration. I am deeply saddened by this outcome and would like to thank all of the people who have put their hearts and souls into this business over the years," Oliver said in a tweet.
Last year, the network was rescued from bankruptcy after Oliver injected £13mil (RM69.31 million) into it.
Oliver gained international fame following the release of his popular cooking series, 'The Naked Chef'.
