Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, our daily life seems to have been paused momentarily.
Sporting events and games have been cancelled, and even if they are allowed to do so, the game must go on without the presence of an audience.
Some sporting teams have gotten creative with how they intend to fill up the seats, and over in South Korea, they’ve been using the most adorable spectators ever – stuffed animals.
'Cutest thing ever'
In a viral tweet shared by @eshynes, photos of a professional baseball game in South Korea appear to have a special group of audience.

Characters from various cartoon TV shows such as Pikachu, Spongebob, Patrick, Winnie the Pooh and Stitch made an appearance at the game.
The tweet has attracted over 82,000 retweets and 304,000 likes with netizens agreeing that this is the “cutest thing ever” and other sporting teams should follow suit.

Apparently, the stuffed animals were sent by Hanhwa Eagles fans as they are set to go up against the NC Dinos according to Stripes Korea.
“Officials said once fans are allowed to return to their rightful place in the stadium, the stuffed animals will be donated to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation,” the website reported.
Well, who knows maybe when football season is back once again in Malaysia, they’ll fill it up with some cute stuffed animals.
