Over the weekend, lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret announced via a statement that they would be cancelling their annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show for this year.
It seems that they will no longer be “communicating with customers through fashion shows”, so for all we know, this could be the end for Victoria’s Secret angels.
In 2018, the fashion show had their lowest rating of all time, and according to TV network CNBC, they have decided that the station is no longer “the right fit for the show”.

The Victoria’s Secret fashion show has always attracted controversy over the years, especially after they have openly said they refuse to cast plus-size and transgender models.
The internet was abuzz over the cancellation, and some people were actually happy due to their lack if inclusivity.
Here’s what they had to say about it:

Now that the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is canceled, I guess I'll have to get my unrealistic beauty standards from magazines, Instagram, and just society in general.

Victoria’s Secret would literally rather cancel their fashion show than just make it inclusive. Yikes. https://t.co/VLFul9fPDr
