Still sad that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) phase three has ended? Looking forward to more Marvel movies?
Fret not, because the MCU looks very promising post-‘Avengers’ era after Marvel made a string of announcements during the Disney Expo (or better known as D23), including updates on upcoming titles coming to the silver screens and on Disney+.

And it looks like winter is coming to the first wave of phase four MCU as ‘Game of Thrones’ (GoT) actor Kit Harrington has been confirmed to star in MCU’s phase four film ‘The Eternals’.
According to Deadline, Harrington will be playing non-Eternal Dane Whitman, or the Black Knight.
He’ll also be reuniting on-screen with his GoT co-star Richard Madden, who plays Ikaris.
But the icing on the cake for ‘The Eternals’ is definitely Gemma Chan (besides Angelina Jolie, of course).
The ‘Captain Marvel’ star made history after becoming the first actor to play two different roles within the MCU.

Chan will play humankind-loving Sersi, the role which fans originally speculated was for Jolie.
Jolie will be taking on the role of Thena, instead.

Other cast members who will also appear in the film are Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Lia McHugh, and Don Lee.
During the D23 expo, Marvel also revealed the concept art for the characters of the film, which, to be honest, looked really cool!
‘The Eternals’ is set to premiere in cinemas on 6 November 2020.
